I had a somewhat mixed experience at Hayes Mansion. The beautiful grounds were definitely a highlight, but my encounter with the front desk staff was a bit of a letdown. The cleanliness of my room was another issue, as I encountered some odd smells and noise that disturbed my sleep. Overall, while there were some nice aspects, I was left wanting more from my stay.

I found my room to be clean but marred by some loud noises and strange odors. It could have really used a refresh because it felt outdated. Also, I was disappointed with the lack of amenities in my room.

I recently spent five nights at Hayes Mansion, and it served as a solid base for my day trips around the area. The room was clean, comfy, and surprisingly quiet, especially considering it was during a heatwave where the A/C worked like a champ. However, I had some hiccups with the front desk on checkout, which put a damper on an otherwise enjoyable stay.

I had a great experience at Hayes Mansion during my son's wedding, with the food and service standing out. The grounds were stunningly maintained, creating a peaceful atmosphere, but I did have some troubles with the front desk's phone service that took away from the experience. Nonetheless, the clean rooms and charming decor made for a nice stay overall.

However, I encountered issues with my room, like worn-out furnishings and a musty smell, which detracted from the overall experience. Additionally, while the service staff were friendly, the front desk could be more professional and responsive to inquiries. Overall, the unique ambiance of the hotel is charming, but improvements in the rooms and service are necessary.
